WEST COVINA – Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) is proud to partner with the City of Covina and Citrus Valley Association of Realtors to host a forum for California Housing Finance Agency and Keep Your Home California representatives to bring essential services right to her community.
“Purchasing a home is both the biggest investment and the biggest risk one will likely make in their lifetime,” said Assemblywoman Rubio. “The residents of my district work hard and deserve to know that California has attainable paths to homeownership, and peace of mind for those struggling to keep the home they own.”
Constituents will hear about government programs available through both departments that provide financial assistance for first time buyers, and mortgage relief assistance for those in jeopardy of losing their home. The Community Housing Event will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Covina City Council Chambers located at 125 E. College Street in Covina.
