(Sacramento) – While an estimated 65,000 undocumented students graduate from U.S. high schools every year, studies show that only about 20% of them pursue a higher education. Many say they simply didn’t have the proper resources to help them achieve their academic dreams. That’s why Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) is introducing AB 2477, which establishes Dream Resources Liaisons in public high schools, colleges and universities. “We as legislators, now more than ever, must do more to help our undocumented students and their families,” says Assemblywoman Rubio.
