(SACRAMENTO) - Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio rises on the Assembly floor in support of AB 450 (Chiu), a bill that seeks to ensure that employers do all they can to protect workers from ICE raids without a warrant. Recalling a time when her family was faced with this very real threat, Rubio urges government to be open and transparent about the reality of audits and raids that are currently happening and additionally, to promote security among the large immigrant workforce in California.
