(Sacramento) – Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) asked the Joint Legislative Audit Committee to widen the scope of its audit of the state and regional Water Boards MS4 permitting to include cities throughout Los Angeles County. “While it is important that California remains in compliance with the federal regulations, and requirements of the Clean Water Act, it is also critical that permits are not so stringent to cause cities into an uncertain fiscal imbalance,” Assemblywoman Rubio told the JLAC members.
